Mission
The mission of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City
is to serve as the focal point for planned giving and to enhance and promote
the continuity of the Jewish community through a broad range of innovative
and charitable programs. The Jewish Community Foundation will carry out
its mission by:
 Providing
leadership and serving as a role model and teacher of family philanthropy
Collaborating
with all community funders
Working
with community estate planning, tax, legal and financial planning professionals
in
providing planned
giving expertise
Developing
endowment funds which form a permanent base of support for the Jewish
community
Communicating,
educating and motivating donors by providing opportunities for
philanthropy
Providing
stewardship for donor funds and fostering donor relations
Vision
The vision of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City
is to foster, sustain and ensure a strong and vibrant Jewish community
for today and for generations to come.
