Josh Stein
Josh leads the Jewish Community Foundation and works closely with its Board of Trustees. Josh Stein is a Kansas City native committed to the strength of our Jewish community and thriving nonprofit sector. He returned to Kansas City in 2013 inspired by the Foundation's innovative legacy giving initiative and talented staff. In 2024 he was promoted to his current role as President & CEO.
When not helping to grow the Foundation and community, he enjoys travel, hiking, live music and time with his wife, Sheryl and two children.

Suzanne Galblum Dicken
Suzanne helps people establish charitable funds and legacy gifts. She also manages JCF’s philanthropic education programs.
When she’s not working, Suzanne enjoys getting out in nature with her family, exploring KC's independent bookstores, coffee shops and thrift stores, and vintage furniture shopping.

Leiba Estrin
Leiba supports our fundholders by processing grant requests and ensuring IRS compliance.
In her free time, Leiba likes to read, take walks, play games with her family, and get together with friends.
“I really enjoy helping facilitate people's charitable giving to causes that are meaningful to them. Being a part of that process is an honor and a pleasure.”

Beatrice Fine
Beatrice serves as a key liaison between grantseekers and donors, working to ensure that grant applications are aligned with community needs. She also helps match fundholders with nonprofits that serve their philanthropic interests.
Bea’s hobbies include reading, working on puzzles, playing board games, and participating in escape rooms. Her favorite time of year is art fair season.

Brooke Hardy
Brooke works to raise awareness of the Foundation in the Jewish and general communities through strategic and innovative marketing and communications. She is the primary staff person working with JCF’s marketing committee.
Brooke’s hobbies include reading, cooking, knitting, thrift shopping, and traveling with her family.
“It’s rewarding to work for JCF because our organization has a unique and important role in the community. I’m proud to help make philanthropy accessible and impactful for givers of all ages.”

Liz Mathews
Liz handles accounting reconciliation and provides accounting support to the CFO.
In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, reading true crime and autobiographies, and watching movies with her family.
“I like working for the Foundation because it is a smaller, tight-knit organization, and I appreciate the opportunity to help people from all walks of life.”

Elizabeth Peden
Elizabeth is responsible for accounting, budgeting, and fiscal oversight. She is also involved with operations, insurance, human resources, and represents the Foundation in the community. Elizabeth is the primary liaison to JCF’s treasurer and chairs of the audit, administrative, gift acceptance and investment committees.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and being active.
“I like working at JCF because I get to help people make a difference in the world, and I enjoy hearing our donors’ stories. It’s fun to figure out how the numbers all go together and to work with the systems to make our operations run smoother. Math and accounting have always been a talent and a passion for me. We also have a great group of co-workers!”

Antoinette Wells
Antoinette manages the daily operations that keep the Foundation office running efficiently, including correspondence and communications, project coordination, and administrative support for leadership and programs. She also assists fundholders with DonorCentral, JCF’s fund management portal.
Antoinette spends her free time with her children and granddaughter, reading and writing, and shopping for fun vintage finds.
“I like working for JCF because our mission is meaningful, and I love being a part of an organization that helps individuals and families meet their philanthropic goals. I also genuinely enjoy the people I work with, our Board, staff, fundholders, and agency partners who make this work so rewarding.”
